Ssiong was a gropaga who enjoyed singing. However, he was terrible at it, for he sung with an obnoxious falsetto that annoyed his fellow gropagas and ultimately resulted in him being removed from the church. He then ran away and made his home at the abandoned fortress Hojo.
About three months after Ssiong's banishing, a gropaga approached Inglip and sensed that the Dark One was upset. Upon asking Inglip what was troubling him, Inglip told him that Ssiong's falsetto was still assulting his all-hearing ears. The gropaga then sent an asassin gropaga to put an end to Ssiong's pathetic melody for good.
